The 2015 vintage is distinguished by its richness and intensity. Offering ripe aromas of black fruits, such as black cherry and blackberry, it is complemented by subtle notes of spice and well-integrated oak. On the palate, its velvety tannins and beautiful structure give it a long, seductive finish.
A soft and subtle wine
Description
2015 was a very hot year in the southwest of France. Very high temperatures from April to August ensured quality fruit. The more moderate temperatures during the month of September allowed good ripening of the grapes. Despite a relatively low yield due to small berries, the 2015 vintage is announced as one of the best of the decade.
Deep red, this wine has purple reflections. The nose is complex and fine with aromas of ripe fruit and peppery notes. With a slight sweetness on the palate, this wine is spicy and the tannins are silky. The attack is frank, the wine is expressive.
